Data Available

NaPTAN data, of all bus stops and stations in the UK, and the National Gazetteer of towns and villages, can be made available. They are subject to Crown Copyright. Public Sector Information

A system of Information Asset Registers is being encouraged by the Office of Public Sector Information. OPSI run a data unlocking service where people can register their interest in public sector data. Wider access to NPTDR is one of datasets requested for unlocking and seeking support.

Showusabetterway

is an invitation by Government Cabinet office to the Free Our Data campaign to suggest imaginitive new uses for public sector data. Although the closing date has passed, new ideas still seem to be being accepted. The schemes, a number of which relate to public transport data, can be viewed and voted on at uservoice.
